Busy Summer

I am sorry I haven't been able to keep up with posting. I have gotten so involved in all these jobs, that I don't have time do much else besides eating, and sleeping.

The National Young Scholars Program on campus is going well.

My job at Easy Radio may present the opportunity to get involved with podcasting, which would be exciting. The station manager is talking about starting to podcast some of our programming.

For those of you who don't know what podcasting is, it's a mp3 that has been recorded specifically for playback on an mp3 player, as on demand content. Most podcasts are talk shows. The name, and original concept was developed for use with Apple's iPods.

Anyone can produce podcasts, in a few easy steps:

  1. Record the content using Audacity, Adobe Audition or other audio editing software.

  2. Post it to the web on server space either purchased or owned by yourself. Most easliy done with a blog that has Rich Site Summary (RSS) Feeds.

  3. Then, submit the feed to the iTunes Music Store (iTMS) for others to subscribe!

For more information about podcasting visit podcastalley.com or Apple's website.

Now, I've got to get back to work, but wanted to drop you all a note, so you didn't think I'd forgotten you!
