JMU Sold Out!
This week started off with sickness as I have a cold. With three exams down and one more next week, the semester is speeding by. This can be a good thing, because it means that Fall Break (when I'm planning to go to New York City with my girlfriend to see her cousin, who lives in Manhattan) will be here quickly, but it also means that deadlines creep up and I need to be focused on papers/labs that are due.
In Software Development we are starting our second topic today, Visual Basic, which will start with review of what was covered last semester. History of Rock has really surprised me because I have been taking more notes in that class than I have any other class. Policy and Regulation of Telecom is discussing First Amendment rights and the FCC, specifically in the context of Bono from U2 Golden Globe acceptance speech and their decision in 2004.
JMU plays Maine for Family Weekend football action; however, JMU has sold out all games except for the last, Towson. If you are interested, I suggest you get your tickets soon. Also, it's important to note, that if you are a student you can pick up tickets for Family Weekend and Homecoming at the Convocation Center the week before the game. On Friday I'm going to watch my brother march in the band at Harrisonburg High School, who plays our rivals the Turner Ashby Knights. On Sunday, I look forward to attending the Acapellathon with my parents (they always enjoy JMU acapella).
