Final Exams

App State v. JMU was the best Men's Basketball Game I've seen since I've been at JMU. It was a double overtime game. With less than 14 seconds left in the game, JMU scored two points to tie the game at 65. Then in the first five minute overtime App State was leading 74-71 to which JMU was able to answer the call and score three points as the buzzer sounded, tying the score at 74. In the second overtime JMU took over the game scoring two points, seconds before the buzzer to win the game 81-79. At which time I rushed the floor with the student sections on the court.

After the excitement of the game Lauren and I helped the UPB (University Program Board) set up the convo for the fall concert. On Tuesday night we helped take tickets before the show.

Last Thursday was my 21st birthday. I celebrated by going to Edelweiss, a German Restaurant in Staunton, VA, with my parents. This past weekend I coded my eCommerce ASP website (it's a shopping website with checkout), worked on research for my Policy and Regulation in Telecom paper, and continued research for my Biotech class paper about plant lipids.

This week has also been busy. Monday I put the finishing touches on my eCommerce website, watched the snow begin to fall, and carefully made my way to work. While there I helped complete some service requests, including the start of a server diagram.

Tuesday I woke up to snow, however the university only had a one hour delay. Thus, I bundled up and went to Dr. Bacchman's Biotech review, for our exam tomorrow. Tuesday afternoon, I attended my last History of Rock lecture, as our exam is also tomorrow. Last night I finished writing my Telecom Paper, due today, about a bill introduced in the House of Representatives by Rep. Sessions (R-TX). The bill would prevent local governments from offering telecommunication service anywhere a company already does, effectively prohibiting municipal wireless.

Today, I met with Nathan Marsh and Bill Gentry to record a segment for the OneDisc that all those who are admitted to JMU will receive this spring. The segment went very well; I hope that it has an impact and that I was able to offer my perspective of JMU and ISAT clearly.

Tomorrow I'll be busy with a total of three final exams. The first is in Biotech with Dr. Bacchman. The second is in my Lab class, about the GFP Cloning, Expression, and Purification that we did this semester. The last is my History of Rock exam.

After that, I'll have two finals on Monday and my semester will be over. I really don't know what happened. This is the fastest semester I've ever had at JMU.
