Interviews

I don't have much more new stuff going on in my life since the last time except that I now know for sure I have three interviews next week for jobs! The companies I will be interviewing with are Freddie Mac, CGI-AMS, and Accenture. They come to Sonnor Hall here on campus to conduct interviews, which is very convenient since they are all located in northern Virginia. Next week is defintiely going to be a busy and stressful week now. All 3 of the tests that I was supposed to have this week are now next week. That means that I have three tests and three interviews next week. It makes me exhausted to even think about.

It's also so surreal to think that it's already the time of my life where I need to find a job! I know I've talked about the job thing a lot lately, but as a senior in college its something that you have to think a lot about. To get ready for my interviews next week I am going to make sure that I know information about the companies so that I won't be clueless about what they do. It never makes a good impression to know nothing about the company. Also, I am going to try to have answers ready to some questions that could possibly be asked such as "What is your strength?" or "Name a situation you have been in that challenged you." Those are some questions I've been asked in previous interviews, and its always a good idea to have answers in mind so that you don't have to sit there and try to think of something.

Today was a very relaxing day in comparison to what I will be up to next week. The teacher for one of my telecom classes was sick and cancelled our class and our test today. So I only had one class this morning. Since I had so much free time today I took my car to get the oil changed and all that good stuff. In the meantime, my friend and I went on an hour run! Remember me telling you about the half marathon I plan to run in April? Well, we are still planning on doing it and we figure if we can run for 2 hours straight then we will be able to run a half marathon. So we are halfway there! I will also be running in another 5K this weekend to benefit Hurricane Katrina. Ok, I'm going to use the rest of this day to do work for next week! Have a good one!
