Is it fall break yet?
This past weekend was probably one of the most boring weekends I have had all school year. This was because I had a lot of work to do and so instead of hanging out with friends or doing other fun stuff, I was stuck inside doing work. It was so beautiful outside this weekend too! However, on Sunday I ran a 5K to benefit Mercy Corps. That was a great run and I was glad to be outside at least part of the day. Unfortunately, JMU lost 11-7 to University of Massachusetts on Saturday at the football game. That was dissapointing but JMU is still doing better than they did when I was a freshman and a sophomore here at JMU.
Although the weekend was relatively boring, I wish it could have lasted just a little bit longer so that I wouldn't have to start this week of school. I have been dreading this week. Tomorrow I have an interview with Freddie Mac and CGI- AMS, which means I will be attending their information sessions tonight. The information sessions are required but are helpful because they provide information about the company so that interviewees are knowledgeable about the company before they are interviewed.
Today I have my first test of the week in my one of telecommunications classes. I really hope I studied enough! I had to take my car to WalMart to get new tires this morning and so while I waited I went to Starbucks in Barnes and Nobles to study. That was the first time I had studied there, and I found that I really enjoyed the atmosphere. It was a nice change to the library or my apartment. The coffee helped too!
JMU's fall break is this coming Friday. We only get one day off but I guess its better than nothing! I can't wait for Friday to get here so this week will be over! Ok time for me to go cram before I take the test!
